How to get to Zeballos
By Land
The exit from the Island Highway (Highway 19) to Zeballos can be found just north of Woss, approximately 390 kilometers north of Victoria. A 40 km gravel logging road, in good condition, leads to Zeballos and extends further to Fair Harbour. Be cautious of logging trucks, bears, deer, and elk crossing the road. Zeballos does not have public transportation, but Zeballos Expeditions offers ground transportation from various locations on Vancouver Island.
By Sea
BC Ferries operates regular sailings from Horseshoe Bay to both Nanaimo and Duke Point. The ferry journey takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the ferry terminal, follow the road signs to join the Island Highway. It takes approximately 4 ½ hours to drive from Nanaimo to Zeballos.
By Air
You can catch direct flights from Vancouver Airport's South Terminal to Port Hardy Airport, courtesy of Pacific Coastal Airlines. Upon your arrival at Port Hardy Airport, you'll need to organize transportation to Zeballos. The journey by car takes approximately 2 hours.

Dirty Worm Sports fishing
Experience saltwater fishing while targeting trophy chinook salmon, coho salmon, halibut, rock cod, ling cod and rock fish. Book your trip here. Prices are per day with a maximum of 3 guests on the boat. Captain Billy J recommends a minimum of 2 days on the water however 3 days is best. It's your trip you book your way.
